Conor Maynard

Conor Paul Maynard was born in Brighton, England, to Gary and Helen Maynard, on the 21st of November 1992. He has a younger brother, Jack who is a YouTuber and briefly appeared on the 2017 series of “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” Maynard has his own YouTube Channel as well. His younger sister Anna who is also a YouTuber has appeared in some of his covers on YouTube, including “Run” and “If I Were A Boy“. He attended Cardinal Newman Catholic School in Hove. On 19 May 2006, he signed up to the online video-sharing website YouTube and uploaded his very first video of him singing “Breathe“, by another British musician Lee Carr. Since 2009, Maynard has uploaded cover versions of songs with rapper and close friend, Anthony  Melo. Together they have covered a variety of songs, including: Taio Cruz “Dynamite“, Rihanna “Only Girl“. Maynard came to label attention when American singer/songwriter Ne-Yo watched a cover version of his track “Beautiful Monster” who contacted the musician soon afterwards, and Ne-Yo became Maynard’s mentor. He signed to EMI/Parlophone and Turn First management.

Maynard’s debut single, “Can’t Say No“, was released in the United Kingdom on 15 April 2012 debuting at number two on the UK Singles Chart for the week ending 28 April with 74,792 copies sold. The track also saw chart success in Ireland, where it peaked at number thirteen. On 1 May, Maynard released the album track “Drowning” as a free download for any fans who pre ordered the upcoming studio album. On 5 May, he performed “Can’t Say No” at the 7th annual edition of the TRL Awards in Italy. On 9 June 2012, Maynard performed “Can’t Say No” at the Capital Summertime Ball  in front of an 80,000 strong crowd. Maynard released his second single, “Vegas Girl“, on 21 July 2012 in the UK it debuted and peaked at number 4 on the UK Singles Chart. On 30 July, he released “Contrast”, which debuted at number 1 on the UK Album Chart on 11 August 2012. The album sold only 17,000 copies in its debut week. He released the third single from the album “Turn Around”, featuring Ne-Yo. It peaked at number 8 on the UK singles chart.  It was also revealed in June 2013 that Maynard would release a book offering fans an insight into his rise to fame, entitled Take Off; it was released in October 2013. Maynard is currently preparing for the release of his second studio album. He has promised a new sound for the album and has confirmed that he has worked with Labrinth and Travie McCoy on the album.

In July 2016, due to the success of his covers on YouTube, Conor announced he would be releasing an album of covers with one original track. A few of the covers included “Pillowtalk“, “One Dance“, “Hello” and “Stitches“. The original was called “This Is My Version” and was written about a relationship he had previously been in. The album, Covers, was released on 5 August 2016. Maynard featured on a dance track called “Dancing in the Headlights” by DJ Antoine. Maynard also featured on a track called “Catch Me Here” by Drumsound and Bassline Smith which Conor had already written for 2 years. On 23 December 2016 he released the single “Are You Sure?” with Kris Kross Amsterdam featuring vocals from Ty Dolla Sign.

In an interview on 8 January 2018 with Caspar Lee, Maynard discussed the status of his new album. He revealed that following the success of his debut album, he entered into a relationship and found it difficult to effectively split his time which resulted in the disappointing charting of Talking About and Royalty. Maynard subsequently began making the majority of his income via online stream such as YouTube and Spotify as opposed to album sales and live performances. He then admitted that he wants to release a new album of original music online but is currently unable to because he is under contractual talks with his label. He also stated that once the situation is fixed he will be able to release original content. In 2019 he’d released a bunch more music including “Hate How Much I Love You” and “Not Over You’ And his fans are still anticipating his new upcoming album.


Thomas Wesley Pentz Jr. or better know to the public as Diplo, is an American DJ and record producer in Los Angeles, California. He is the co-creator and lead member of the world’s biggest electronic music project Major Lazer, a member of the super group LSD, with Sia and Labrinth also working alongside with another major producer and DJ Skrillex as part of the electronic duo Jack Ü, which made the 2015 smash hit Where are U now. He also formed the group Silk City with Mark Ronson. He founded and manages record company Mad Decent, as well as co-founding the non-profit organization Heaps Decent. Among his many other jobs, he has worked as a school teacher in Philadelphia. His 2013 EP, Revolution, debuted at number 68 on the US Billboard 200. The EP’s title track was also featured in a commercial for Hyundai and is featured on the video game WWE 2K16 soundtrack.


During his rise to fame, Diplo worked with British musician M.I.A., an artist who credited with giving him exposure in his early career. Later, he and fellow M.I.A. producer Switch made a Jamaican dancehall project and cartoon series titled Major Lazer. Since then, Diplo has worked on production and mixtape projects with many other big names in music, such as Gwen Stefani, Die Antwoord, Britney Spears, Madonna, Shakira, Beyoncé, No Doubt, Justin Bieber, Usher, Snoop Dogg, Trippie Redd, Chris Brown, CL, G-Dragon, Bad Bunny, MØ, Poppy, and Bausa. And if you were curious as to where he got his name, it’s short for Diplodocus. The only reasoning being is that he loved dinosaurs growing up as a kid.

Shawn Mendes

Shawn Peter Raul Mendes professionally known as just Shawn Mendes is Canadian singer, Songwriter and model. He was born on August 8, 1998 in Toronto, Ontario.

In 2012, at the age of 14, Mendes learned to play the guitar by watching tutorials on YouTube. Soon after, he started posting his work on YouTube. His covers included Justin Bieber’s “As Long As You Love Me” which gained a massive amount of viewers on the social video app Vine. He instantly gained over millions of views and followers making him the third most followed musician on Vine.

Mendes was discovered online by artist manager, Andrew Gertler in November 2013 from where he then got in to Island Records in January 2014. In April the same year, he won the “Best Cover Song” contest hosted by Ryan Seacrest for his cover of “Say Something by A Great Big World. Later in May, he officially signed to Island Record.

Mendes released his first single “Life of the Party” on June 26, 2014 becoming the youngest to debut in the top 25 on the US Billboard Hot 100 with his single reaching number 24.

In 2014, he also released his self-titled debut EP followed by his debut studio album, Handwritten in 2015 which included the hit single “Stitches” that reached number one in the UK and the top 10 in the US and Canada. A year later, in 2016, Mendes released his second studio album, Illuminate. The album produced hits like “Treat You Better” and “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” which reached the top 10 in many countries.

His third studio album was released in 2018. The self-titled album’s lead single, “In My Blood” was described to be as the song that spoke of himself dealing with anxiety. All three of his albums debuted atop the US Billboard 200. The first one reigned at number one making Mendes one of five artists to debut at number one before the age of 18. He was also the third youngest artist to achieve three number one albums with his third album hitting number one too. In 2017, Mendes also became the first artist to land three number one singles on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. In 2018 he was the first to achieve four number one singles on the Adult Pop Songs chart before the age of 20.

Mendes headlined four concert tours which are namely #ShawnsFirstHeadlines, Shawn Mendes World Tour, Illuminate World Tour and Shawn Mendes: The Tour.

Shawn Mendes became a big name across the world. In 2018, Time named Mendes one of the 100 most influential people in the world on their annual list. He was also announced as the brand ambassador for Emporio Armani’s entire “Fall Winter 2018-2019” watch collection in June 2018. A month after, Pictures of Shawn Mendes wearing the new EA Connected smartwatches were shared on social media.

On February 16, 2019, the young star announced that he was the latest brand ambassador for Calvin Klein’s #MyCalvins campaign. During the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, SmileDirectClub released an advertisement showcasing a campaign between the company and Mendes with some of the proceeds going to many organizations that seek to improve children’s health as well as mental and emotional well-being. That same month, Emporio Armani released a black and white advertisement for their touchscreen smartwatches featuring an instrumental version of Shawn’s “In My Blood” with him boxing.

In May 2019, Calvin Klein launched their latest campaign, ‘I Speak My Truth in #MyCalvins’ with a video featuring Shawn Mendes, Billie Eilish, Bella Hadid, Chika, Noah Centineo, Troye Sivan, Kendall Jenner and more.

Among his accolades, Shawn Mendes has received many nominations and awards. Mendes has won a total of 13 Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) awards, 10 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA), 8 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards (MMVA), 8 Juno Awards, 3 BMI Awards, 2 American Music Awards (AMA) and the Allan Slaight Honor from Canada’s Walk of Fame. He was also nominated for 2 Grammy Awards.


Ashley Nicolette Frangipane better known professionally as Halsey was born on September 29, 1994 in Edison, New Jersey. Her stage name originated as a reference to Halsey Street where she once lived in Brooklyn and began writing music. It is also an anagram of her first name.

Throughout her childhood, Halsey and her family would move around, doing different jobs to survive. Eventually getting Halsey used to the idea of packing up and leaving and never having people who actually knew her. In high school, she went through tough times being bullied but made her place in theatre and also was the yearbook editor. She was named the “Best Artist”.

Even after getting entry to a reputed design school, Halsey had to resort to community college as she couldn’t afford it. She would often live in one of New York’s many homeless shelters or with her grandmother.

It was in Halsey Street in Brooklyn that she finally felt like she was a part of something bigger and started writing music. Halsey was only seventeen when she began posting videos on social media during 2012. Eventually she met a producer at a party who liked her voice and asked to collaborate with him. As a result, the song “Ghost” was released on SoundCloud and within hours gained online popularity, and she was subsequently contacted by several record labels, with the song eventually charting and going on radio.

In October 2014, Halsey released her debut EP, Room 93 and promoted her next album by touring with larger acts. The following year, she released her debut studio album, Badlands which included hits like Colors and New Americana. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Several tracks from the album were certified Platinum and had a single which was certified Gold. In order to promote the album, Halsey embarked on her debut headlining world tour.

In 2016, Halsey was featured in the The Chainsmokers’ single “Closer” which gained massive commercial success while topping charts of over 20 countries and granting Halsey greater prominence.

A year later, Halsey released her second studio album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom which debuted at number one in US and Canada. The album consisted hits like Now or Never (which was number seventeen) and Bad At Love (which was at number five).

Halsey teamed up with Khalid and sang for Benny Blanco’s debut single “Eastside” in 2018, which topped charts around the world and also peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100. Later that year, she released her single “Without Me” which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

Halsey recently announced that she’s working on a new album which will speak from her heart and help those who deal with troubles as she once did. The album is set to release end of 2019.

Halsey’s achievements consist of a Billboard Music Awards for Top Collaboration (2017), Billboard Women in Music Awards for Rising Star (2016), iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards for Artist For Change (2018) including many nominations; six times at Teen Choice Awards, five times at Billboard Music Awards, three times at iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards, four times at iHeartRadio Music Awards, twice at MTV Europe Music Awards and once each at GLAAD Media Awards, Global Award, Grammy Awards one Radio Disney Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, NME Awards and People’s Choice Awards.

She is involved in suicide prevention awareness and sexual assault victim advocacy.

Benny Blanco

Benjamin Joseph Levin, known professionally as Benny Blanco is an American record producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Born on March 8, 1988 in Virginia he began to showcase his talents at the age of 5. At a young age he started to experiment with beat making, recording and rapping which there on earned the interest of leading record labels.

He worked under the wing of Dr. Luke and eventually co-produced and co-wrote smashing hits like Circus for Britney Spears, Diamonds for Rihanna, Teenage Dream and California Gurls for Katy Perry, Dynamite for Taio Cruz, Stereo Hearts for Gym Class Heroes, Moves Like Jagger, Maps, Animals, Don’t Wanna Know and Payphone for Maroon 5, Luv for Tory Lanez, Love Yourself for Justin Bieber, Don’t and Castle On The Hill for Ed Sheeran, Tik Tok for Kesha, Cold Water for Major Lazer, Work Hard, Play Hard for Wiz Khalifa and Don’t Trust Me for 3OH!3.

Over his career behind the scenes, he achieved a total of 26 number 1 songs which includes his work with artists like The Weeknd, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey, Miguel, Halsey, and Camila Cabello.

He was awarded the 2013 Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He is also a five-time BMI Songwriter of the Year award winner and iHeartRadio Producer of the Year award winner (2017).

In July 2018, Blanco finally released his own song “Eastside” for which he collaborated with Halsey & Khalid. It peaked t number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 making it Blanco’s first top 10 single as an artist and his 27th top 10 as a writer. The song reached number one in several countries including UK.

Later that year, he released his first album, ‘Friends Keep Secrets’ which is also the name of his label with Interscope Records. The album included “Eastside” along with other singles, namely “I Found You” with Calvin Harris, “Better to Lie” with Jesse and Swae Lee, and “Roses” with Juice Wrld featuring Brendon Urie.

Blanco’s latest release single, “I Can’t Get Enough” is an English-Spanish song for which he collaborated with Puerto Rican producer Tainy, Selena Gomez, and J Balvin. It was released as a single on February 28, 2019 but is yet to confirm if it belongs to his debut album.


Amanda Ava Koci also known professionally as Ava Max, is an American singer and songwriter. She was born on February 16, 1994 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her single “Sweet but Psycho” topped the charts in several countries.

In May 2013, she released her song “Take Away The Pain”. After being a reject of record producers and songwriters, she went under the wing of record producer, Cirkut who happened to be a friend of her older brother.

Later in July 2016, she released one of her songs produced by Cirkut on Soundcloud which then gained the attention of many record labels giving her the opportunity to finally sign a record deal.

With Cirkut as her producer, she released her single “My Way” in April 2018. Reaching charts gave her a chance to work with Gashi a month later. Together they released the track “Slippin”. She also featured on the song “Into Your Arms by rapper Witt Lowry in June 2018. Her song “Salt” appeared on Soundcloud the following month. In August, that same year, she re-released her song “Not Your Barbie Girl” as a promotional single.

That wasn’t all for August. Max released her third single “Sweet But Psycho” produced by Cirkut on August 17th. The song that gave her the big break. The single reached number one in more than 20 countries.

Her breakthrough single opened doors for her to work with artists like David Guetta. Max was featured in Guetta’s album “7” on the track “Let It Be Me”. In January 2019, Max made it to the top once more when “Sweet But Psycho” reached the top spot of the Billboard Dance Club Song Chart. It was also number one for 4 consecutive weeks on the Kiss Demand.

Ava Max is still soaring high with the release of her follow up single “So Am I”.  The song which released early March, has already gained massive airplay.

Max revealed that she grew up listening to artists that influenced her well like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Fergie, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga.


Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar professionally known as Cardi B, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter.

Born on the 11th of October 1992 and raised in The Bronx, New York City, Cardi B, went on to becoming an internet celebrity after her posts went viral on social media. In 2015, she joined the cast of the VH1 reality television series Love & Hip Hop: New York where she followed her dreams and released two mixtapes.

Cardi B earned three number-one singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 with “Bodak Yellow” which made her the second female to top the chart with a solo, “I Like It” which made her the first female rapper to get multiple number-one songs on the chart and “Girls Like You” which she collaborated for with Maroon 5. She also claimed the number one spot on the Billboard 200 with her debut studio album, ‘Invasion of Privacy (2018)’ while breaking records and earning her a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, making her the only woman to win the award as a solo artist.

Her victories include winning a Grammy Award, three American Music Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, a Billboard Music Award, nine BET Hip Hop Awards and two Guinness World Records.

In 2018, Cardi B was included in the annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time.

Cardi B married Migos’ Offset in 2017 and gave birth to their first child, a daughter in 2018.

Cardi B released her steaming hot single alongside Bruno Mars called “Please Me” on February 15, 2019. On March 1, she released the official video for the song and also set a new attendance record of 75,580 fans in the audience at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.  She recently replaced herself atop the Billboard Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop airplay chart with her single “Money” being replaced by her Pardison Fotaine collaboration “Backin’ It Up”. City Girls and Cardi B’s “Twerk” is standing in the third spot of the chart.

Axwell Ingrosso

Axwell and Ingrosso is a Swedish DJ duo. They’re former members of Swedish House Mafia.

Axwell and Ingrosso formed the group Axwell Λ Ingrosso officially in 2014.

Their first performance was in 2014 at the 8 June Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City.

They released their album Axwell Λ Ingrosso the same year.

Axwell Λ Ingrosso released their first single “Can’t Hold Us Down” and later that year released their next single “Something New”.

The duo released their eighth single “I Love You” which features Kid Ink recently.

Charlie Puth

Charles Otto “Charlie” Puth Jr. is an American singer-songwriter and record producer.

He kickstarted his career through his song videos uploaded to YouTube and he gained worldwide success with his hits including ‘Marvin Gaye’ featuring Meghan Trainor and the smash hit ‘See You Again’ with Wiz Khalifa.

Puth’s debut studio album, Nine Track Mind, was released in January 2016 and was preceded by the single “One Call Away”, which reached the top 20 on the Hot 100.

Don Diablo

Don Pepijn Schipper (born February 27th), better known as Don Diablo, is a Dutch DJ and producer of electronic dance music.

He is known for his eclectic style of production and vocalizing in most of his songs. He was ranked 15th in the Top 100 DJs 2016 list by DJ Magazine.

In 2004, he launched his separate music project called Divided. The project had two hits “The Music, the People” credited to Divided featuring Diablo in 2004, followed by “Easy Lover” in 2005, credited to Diablo presents Divided, a dance remake of the joint hit of Philip Bailey and Phil Collins in 1985, Divided remake coming after twenty years of the release of the original.

In 2013 Diablo released new songs on Axwell’s Axtone label, Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings, Steve Angello’s Size X imprint and Spinnin’ Records label.

He created the official theme song for the 2013 video game Batman: Arkham Origins.

In 2014, Diablo premiered his new visual concept “The Hexagon” with Los Angeles-based visual company “VSquared Labs”.

In October 2014, Diablo made his debut on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list at No. 82.

In October 2015, Diablo was awarded with DJ Magazine’s “highest climber of the year” prize, jumping 52 places to No. 30 on the Top 100 DJs list for 2015.

In 2015 Diablo collaborated with fellow Dutch DJ Tiësto on the track “Chemicals” featuring vocals from Danish singer and producer Thomas Troelsen.

Diablo was the first ambassador for Dance4Life, an international UN-supported action campaign to fight back against HIV and AIDS.
