Scooby-Doo gets an animated movie and has a star powered cast

Every generation knows Scooby-Doo and who wouldn’t want another movie? Warner Bros. Animations have announced that they’re making a new ‘Scooby-Doo’ animated film titled ‘Scoob’. The movie is said to have a star-studded cast which includes Zac Efron, Amanda Seyfried Mark Wahlberg and Jason Isaacs

Efron will be the voice of Fred and Seyfried will take over Daphne making themselves the power-couple in the team. Mark Walhberg will play Blue Falcon who has previously teamed up with the mystery gang to solve crime. The main villain of the film, Dick Dastardly will be voiced by Jason Isaacs who is popular for his role as Lucias Malfoy in Warner Bros’ ‘Harry Potter’ franchise.

The voice of Scooby-Doo in the Scooby-Doo franchise, Frank Welker will be back for his role as our favourite character who can disguise himself as a lady to take a plane. And zoinks, Shaggy will be voiced by Will Forte famous for his role on ‘The Last Man on Earth’.

Others to join the cast will be Gina Rodriguez for the voice of Velma, Tracy Morgan for the voice of Captain Caveman, Ken Jeong for Dynomutt, Dog Wonder and Kiersey Clemons for the voice of Dee Dee Skyes.

The storyline of the upcoming movie, ‘Scoob’ will see a collision between two famous crime fighters. The Mystery Inc. gang is said to join forces with more heroes of the Hanna-Barbera universe to save the planet from the evil Dick Dastardly. And this time around, news says that ‘the threat is real’.

Scoob has a release date of May 15 2020. Exactly a year from now (a day less), we are going to have another Scooby Doo movie.
