The Girl on The Train has topped the U.K. Box Office chart.
The thriller stars Emily Blunt who plays an alchoholic divorcee who’s trying to solve a murder she may be responsible for, took the fast track past its competition last weekend.
It made 8.46 million dollars in British cinemas while it made 24.7 million dollars in the North American Box office.
In the meantime Bridget Jones’ Baby is at number 2 while Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is third with 2.7 million dollars.
Real-life oil rig disaster movie Deepwater Horizon and epic Western remake The Magnificent Seven round out the new top five.
